"Prize for the Best Dissertation in 2008" granted to D.Sc. Marko Laakkonen

The topic of his thesis was "Development and validation of mass transfer models for the design of agitated gas-liquid reactors". The prize was granted by The Finnish Society of Chemical Engineers. 

M.Sc. Jonas Roininen was honoured on 26.02.2008 with "Matti Happonen Scholarship" for the best Master of Science Thesis

The topic of his thesis was "Evaluation of Silica Nanoparticle Process Concepts".

"Matti Happonen Scholarship" granted to M.Sc. Helena Laavi for her Master of Science Thesis

The topic of his thesis was"Monifaasireaktoreiden aineensiirtomallien kehittäminen". The scholarship was granted by Matti Happonen foundation for the first time on March 13th 2007.

"Prize for the Best Dissertation in 2006" granted to D.Sc. Juha-Pekka Pokki

The topic of his thesis was "Development of Vapour Liquid Equilibrium Calculation Methods for Chemical Engineering Design". The prize was granted by The Finnish Society of Chemical Engineers.

"Young Researcher Award 2006" to D.Sc. Ville Alopaeus

The award was granted by TES.

"The Best Master of Science Thesis in the Field of Process Engineering at TKK in 2004" to Mr. Ville Tarvo

The topic of his thesis was "A Model for Polyoxometalate Bleaching of Pulp".

"Finnish Engineering Award 2003" granted to prof. Outi Krause, prof. Juhani Aittamaa, M.Sc. Juha Jakkula, Tech.Lic. Antti Pyhälahti ja M.Sc. Juhani Rintala

The group were the first to develop a process for the production of harmless iso-octane, which can replace MTBE as an additive in gasoline. Prize was granted by Tekniikan akateemisten liitto.

"Prize for the Best Dissertation in 2001" granted to D.Sc. Ville Alopaeus

The topic of his thesis was "Calculation of Multicomponent Mass Transfer Between Dispersed and Continuous Phases". The prize was granted by The Finnish Society of Chemical Engineers.
